Hi girls
Now that I have a few people reading my blog I thought I should ask what you would like to read about. I am going to keep this blog mainly focused on beauty reviews but I am happy to add in the odd extra post on whatever you are interested in. I know I love reading more personal blogs about blogger's daily lives and families so if you want to know more about me as a person rather than my thoughts on beauty then feel free to send me some questions and I could do an answer and question post so you get to know me. If you'd like so more fashion focused posts I could try that or maybe some outfits of the days? Just feel free to comment or send me an email at jodienatalie@gmail.com then I will reply to you and then hopefully I'll get a better idea of what you would like me to write about.
Have a great evening girls!

Soap & Glory Mini-series - Glow Job
![]() |
*Not my picture |
This is meant to be a moisturising lotion and no matter how much of the product I used my skin always felt dry after using it and it also caused my foundation to sort of peel off which is not what I look for in a moisturiser.
I am not going to forget about this product though as I really do like the concept of this and think it may be better in the summer when I have a natural tan and do not need to wear foundation over the top of this. I may also take it on holiday with me for the evenings so I will let you know how it goes then.
As with the other products this is from boots and is £8.17 for 75ml and all are 3 for 2 at the moment. If you have any recommendations of other Soap & Glory products you think I would enjoy or you would like to see reviews on I will be going to buy some more products in the next few weeks so leave a comment.
Have a great day girls

Soap & Glory mini-series - Greatest Scrub of all
I'm not 100% sure that this exfoliant lives up to its name as the 'greatest scrub of all' but it is definitely up there on my list. I have been using this for a few months now about 2 or 3 times a week. I got my scrub from boots and it is currently £8.17 but like the hot cloth cleanser it is 3 for 2 at the moment so I suggest you get one of each and a little something extra!
This is a great scrub to use in the shower first thing in the morning as it really does wake you up and has quiet a strong almost minty scent. It leaves your skin so fresh that it actually slightly tingles which I quite like but some of you may not. The texture of the product is as you would imagine quite grainy but there are also larger particles which the bottle describes as' Smooth-boosting spheres that pop open when you press on them'.
I really do like this product and because I have quite oily skin I can use it quite often without drying my skin out. I did however try using it everyday and it left the skin around my nose and chin very dry so if you have dry skin I wouldn't recommend using this product more than twice a week. Overall this product has left my skin lovely and clear which is what I really ask for in an exfoliating product. I'm almost out of this product so i will be adding it to my ever-growing beauty shopping list.
I hope you have found this helpful.
Have a great Bank Holiday Monday girls

A hairy situation...
![]() |

Because I have quite dark hair I have to shave my legs every 2 days at least to keep them silky and smooth and I am guilty of being quite lazy about this. I just find hair removal the biggest chore in the world and am constantly looking for a quick and easy solution. I have tried endless products and so far I haven't found anything that a) removes the hair quickly and relatively pain-free and b) lasts longer than a day or two. So I am hoping and praying that this product actually does what it says so that I can be a bit more relaxed with the dreaded hair removal. I'm also going on holiday in a few weeks so it would be perfect timing if it works. I am being very good and following the instructions of using it everyday (sometimes even twice because you never know, that may make it work twice as well?)
So I will continue with it for the rest of the week and let you know the results so look out for the full review. I just got my bottle from Tesco's and it was £4.99 for 250ml. If you girls know any hair removal techniques then please comment because me and my razor are slowly becoming enemies.
Have a great day girls

Soap & Glory mini series
To kickstart this mini series I thought I should start with my favourite product that I own of the Soap & Glory brand. I love the Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser from the range which is available at boots and is £9.19 although currently it is 3 for 2 on all skincare so I am planning on stocking up on these.
I have never used a cleanser like this before, you put it straight onto your skin with all your make-up still on and just rub it in for about a minute. The consistency is quite a thick cream which is very soft and velvety to put on your skin. Once the product has been massaged into your skin leave for another minute and then remove with the muslin cloth the comes with the product soaked in warm water. If I am wearing quite alot of make-up or particulaly dark eye make-up I would do this twice just to make sure my skin is as clean as possible. After rinsing my face i just pat with a dry towel and my skin feels super soft and you can tell just from looking at it how clean it really is. I love this product and have gone through a whole tube already, I not too keen on the smell of it which is quite a strong lavender scent but because I know how great it makes my skin feel I can put up with the smell for a couple of minutes a day. Since I've been using the product I've seen a real difference in the number of spots I have gotten which is proof enough for me that it is working.
I do know that the Liz Earle brand does have a similar product which I haven't tried yet but I have heard amazing things about that so maybe I will buy that soon and do a kind of 'which is best?' post just to give you a bit more information.
Anyway I hope you find this useful and look out for more of these Soap & Glory posts as they will be coming very shortly! As always if there are any products you would like me to review just let me know.
Have a great day girls!

The Soap & Glory Story
Spring nails!
I know it is almost summer but over the last few weeks and months I've found myself getting a bit of a collection of pretty pastel coloured nail varnishes. I think they are gorgeous for this time of year and who doesn't love looking at their hands and seeing such colourful fingertips!
The first nail varnish I purchased was by Barry M and is in the colour pure turquoise. This is a lovely pastel blue colour that goes on really nicely and you only need 2 coats for an opaque look.
The second colour i brought was also a Barry M nail paint this time in Bright pink. This is a colour that will be perfect both now in spring but also right through summer. I may also try this on my toe nails for when I go on holiday as i think it will look amazing with a tan and flip flops.
The final polish i purchased was a rimmel Lycra pro one in the shade 500 Peppermint. This is the perfect minty green colour that is really popular at the moment. I do tend to use three coats of this as it is a bit thinner than the Barry m ones but its gorgeous all the same.
I hope you've enjoyed this review and enjoy your pretty pastel nails this spring!
