Over the last few weeks my make up has tended to stay the same and I have got into a little routine of how I do my face and eyes, but one thing I have been switching up and changing is my lip colour. Up until last summer I stuck with quite neutral lip colours. I can never wear the really nude colours such as Gosh's 'Darling' (even though I try every now and again) because my lips are naturally a dark rose colour. Although I still love the classic your lips but better colours I am becoming a bit braver and trying some different shades.
In the last week I have brought 3 lip products ranging from a safe rose pink to an out there bright red.
The first one is from the new No7 spring line which they have just launched. My first real beauty post on this blog last year was about the No7 spring line so when I saw they had released a new one I couldn't wait to try it. The lipstick I purchase was the colour 'Blossoming Pink', it is a deep rose colour that makes my lips look natural but gives them that extra shine. The colour is similar to 'Grace' from last years spring collection and mine is just running out so this is a nice replacement. The only thing I do not like about this product is the packaging. It is just a cheap plain white plastic tube and I think the rest of the collections packaging is so much prettier than this.
The second product I purchased was a lip gloss from Barry M in number 11. I purchased this because Tanya Burr or Pixi2woo raved about it being her favourite lipgloss and I love how she does her make up so thought I would give it a go. I love everything about this lip gloss, the colour is a gorgeous coral that although doesn't show up as bright on the lips, still gives an amazing shine. The smell is also amazing which is also a bonus, its a good job it doesn't taste as good as it smells else I would probably just eat it instead.
The final product I brought was a bit of an impulse buy. Barry M had an offer on certain products that if you brought two you got them for £7. So when I picked up the lip gloss above I saw that the 'Lip Lacquer Crayons' were also in the offer. I think Louise from Sprinkleofglitter has mentioned this before and I thought it was time to be brave so I went for the really bright red which is shade 2. I have worn this twice now and I love it however it is a bit hard to apply as it is so bright and it marks your whole face if it goes wrong. However when it goes right it is so gorgeous and has a sort of metalic shine to it which brightens your whole face.
What are your favourite lip products right now?
Have a great day girls.

NVOTW
Time for another nail varnish of the week and as it is now autumn I though I would move away from the bright summer colours and get a little bit darker. This colour was actually a present from my boyfriend for my birthday and I love it. It is 'Raspberry' by Barry M and is a gorgeous deep pink that in some lights looks red...Perfect for fall!
Whats your nail varnish this week?

Nail Varnish of the Week
First off I just wanted to say thank you to those that have subscribed to me this week it is amazing to know that some people actually like my blog and are reading it. Secondly thank you for your comments and emails and I will write back to you all at some point this week because I am so thankful you are all reading my thoughts.
Right now on to the nail varnish of the week and as always I will start with a bit about last weeks nail varnish and how it went. Last week I had 'Berry Ice Cream' on by Barry M and I don't know if I'm just leaving it too long or something but both this one and 'Peach Melba' by Barry M have really chipped by about Friday, maybe its something I'm doing or maybe they just aren't made to last. Anyway the colour is still great and lots of people told me how nice my nails looked so that was a result! I'll post a photo I took yesterday of my nails so you can see how bad they got.
On to this week and I feel like something a bit brighter and more summery to hopefully bring the sun out from behind the cloud where it is hiding at the minute. I have chosen a GOSH nail varnish this week to see if it lasts any longer than the Barry M ones so we will see what the outcome is. I also have a new top coat which is Sally Hansen's 'NailShine Miracle' and hopefully that will help with the chipping too. The GOSH colour I have gone for this week is number 570 'Peachy' which is a bright peach coral orangey sort of colour and I haven't worn this all year because I've been into my pastels so much but I thought it was time for a change.
I hope you've enjoyed this Nail Varnish of the Week and feel free to let me know what your Nail Varnish of the Week is. Oh and the ring featured this week is from Matalan and I got it on sale for £1!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!

Nail Varnish of the Week
Hi Girls
Its Monday again so that means another nail varnish of the week. I want to start off by talking about last weeks colour which was 'Peach Melba' by Barry M. I really loved this colour and wore it all week which makes a change for me as I normally get bored and change the colour half way through but for this series I will try and keep the colour on for a whole week. I did struggle towards the end of the week though as the nail varnish chipped really badly and that's something I can't stand but i worked through it and kept it on till last night which was Sunday of course. I should have taken a photo of how it looked at the end of the week shouldn't I? Oh well I'll try and remember to do that from now on. So apart from the chipping at the end of the week I really love this colour and can't wait to wear it again.
Now on to this weeks Nail Varnish of the week. I know I said I would be using nail varnishes I had already purchase but my boyfriend brought me this one last Wednesday and I thought it was so sweet that he had actually stood at the Barry M counter and chose this colour that I had to wear it this week so he feels he has done a good job. And he really has done a good job because I love the colour which is 'Berry Ice Cream' and it is one of the new colours in the collection. When he gave it to me I thought it was exactly the same as 'Boots Ltd Edition' by Barry M but as you can see from the photo below the 'Berry Ice Cream is much more of a pastel purple.
I love the colour of this Nail Varnish and I think it will look really nice when I have a tan in a few weeks. You can get 'Berry Ice Cream' from Boots for £2.99. Here's just a photo of how it looks on my nails.
Hope you have a great day girls and check back next week for another Nail Varnish of the Week.

Nail Varnish of the Week
I thought I would do something a bit different today and continue with it every week for the foreseeable future. I am going to do a nail varnish of the week every Monday and tell you what colour I am wearing and why I love it. I will also include a section about the previous weeks nail varnish to let you know how long it lasted, if it chipped a lot etc.
I won't be buying new nail varnish every week although there may be a few new purchases along the way. The majority of colours will be coming from this very big box of colours that I have collected.
This is the perfect summer colour as it goes with everything and looks amazing with a tan. It may not be as great in winter but for now I love it! To buy this lovey pastel peach polish go to: http://www.boots.com/en/Barry-M-Nail-Paint_947704/
I hope you have enjoyed the first Nail Varnish of the Week post and make sure to look out for the next one next Monday.

I will try not to repeat any colours but if I do I apologise now I just can't help loving some more than others.
So as this is my first one of these there will not be a review on the polish just some pictures and why I really like it. Lets begin shall we...
The nail varnish of this week is by Barry M and it is in the colour 'Peach Melba 318'. This is a new colour from Barry M and I purchased mine from Boots for £2.99. I have quite a few Barry M nail varnishes now as they are soo cheap and most of them are such pretty colours. This is such a different colour and I don't have anything like it which is why I brought it.
The colour of the bottle is the exact same colour that comes out on your nails which is great because I really hate when you buy a bottle of nail varnish and the bottle looks gorgeous but then you put it on you nails and it looks nothing like it and your just left disappointed.

Spring nails!
I know it is almost summer but over the last few weeks and months I've found myself getting a bit of a collection of pretty pastel coloured nail varnishes. I think they are gorgeous for this time of year and who doesn't love looking at their hands and seeing such colourful fingertips!
The first nail varnish I purchased was by Barry M and is in the colour pure turquoise. This is a lovely pastel blue colour that goes on really nicely and you only need 2 coats for an opaque look.
The second colour i brought was also a Barry M nail paint this time in Bright pink. This is a colour that will be perfect both now in spring but also right through summer. I may also try this on my toe nails for when I go on holiday as i think it will look amazing with a tan and flip flops.
The final polish i purchased was a rimmel Lycra pro one in the shade 500 Peppermint. This is the perfect minty green colour that is really popular at the moment. I do tend to use three coats of this as it is a bit thinner than the Barry m ones but its gorgeous all the same.
I hope you've enjoyed this review and enjoy your pretty pastel nails this spring!
